JACKSON -- Colds, flu and upset stomachs can make anyone miserable, but those illnesses can mean double trouble for a person with diabetes. That's the subject of the next "Living With Diabetes" program at the St. Francis Information Center at Jackson.

The free seminar is scheduled Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. at the center, 2122 E. Jackson Blvd., in Jackson's Heartland Plaza.

Rosie Danker, a certified diabetes instructor at St. Francis Medical Center, will lead the discussion. She will discuss how common illnesses can affect the glucose levels of a person with diabetes.

Although the program is free of charge, pre-registration is required. For more information, call 243-5222 or 339-6107.
