DELTA -- Kristina Criddle, a country and gospel singer from Delta, will perform on "The Nashville Starseek" television show Wednesday.
The program can bee seen through satellite dish reception G-3, T-16, The Keystone Inspirational Network.
"The Nashville Starseek" features singers of country, gospel and easy listening, who are judged by the television audience. Viewers call in to vote with their touch-tone telephones. The phone number is 1-900-288-9919, and calls are 95-cents each. Criddle's contestant number is 142.
The winning performer will win a $100,000 retail value recording contract at the Opryland Ramada. Votes are accepted for a week, ending May 16.
Criddle has been singing gospel songs since she was 2, and performed her first solo in church at age 3. She studied piano, oboe and violin, in addition to singing.
She is pursuing a career in singing and hopes to sign with a recording company as a solo artist.
