DELTA QUEEN DOCKS TODAY AT CAPE RIVERFRONT

The Delta Queen steamboat is scheduled to arrive at the Cape Girardeau waterfront today at 9 a.m.

This marks the second docking here this month by the Delta Queen, which has been plying the waters of the Mississippi River north of St. Louis since the Great Steamboat Race re-enactment between the Delta and Mississippi Queens ended at St. Louis July 4.

Queen passengers will be greeted at the Broadway floodgate by the Water Street Six, a local Dixieland jazz band; Cape Girardeau Paddlewheelers; and members of the Convention and Visitors Bureau.

The steamboat will be here until noon.
