Delta man faces charges in connection with crash

A Delta man faces a felony charge on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident after a hit and run that left two in the hospital, according to a news release from the Delta Police Department. Freddy J. Johnson, 23, of Delta, was charged with leaving the scene, driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest and driving while suspended after an accident that occurred Friday evening in Delta. Bond was set at $15,000. The Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department and the Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted Delta police in the investigation.
