Delta High School has named graduates who receive awards and scholarships.
Heather Crader, valedictorian, received a Regents Scholarship to Southeast Missouri State University and the MFA Agri Service Scholarship worth $1,000.
Meredith Cox, salutatorian, received a President's Scholarship from SEMO valued at $1,200 per year.
Shonda Lancaster received a basketball scholarship from Shawnee Community College to cover tuition.
Crystal Henson received a Capital Bank Scholarship for $1,000.
Joe Kielhafner is recipient of the Paul Bock Scholarship worth $500 and the NHS scholarship worth $100.
Sarah Hester received a PTO Scholarship worth $500 and NHS Scholarship in the amount of $100.
Jason Nance received a PTO Scholarship worth $500. Nicole Beshears was chosen alternate for the PTO scholarship and also won a Presiding Commissioner's Scholarship in the amount of $500.
Erin Glueck received a $500 scholarship from Stage One-The Hair School in Cape Girardeau.
The President's Award for Educational Excellence was given to Nicole Beshears, Meredith Cox, Heather Crader, Crystal Henson and Shonda Lancaster.
The Award for Outstanding Education Improvement went to Amy Blattel.
Six seniors received College Preparatory Certificates. They were Nicole Beshears, Amy Blattel, Meredith Cox, Heather Crader, Sarah Hester and Shonda Lancaster.
The George Washington Carver Award for Excellence in Education was given to Nicole Beshears, Heather Crader and Meredith Cox.
The DAR, Nancy Hunter Chapter, gave Sarah Hester the DAR Good Citizen Award.
Two seniors were chosen to receive the National Scholar-Athlete Award: Meredith Cox and Aric Altenthal.
An Air Force recruiter presented Meredith Cox with the top Math-Science Student Award.
The Booster Club of Delta High gave Aric Altenthal the Student of the Year Award for the second straight year.
Perfect attendance certificates were given to Joe Keilhafner, two years, and Sarah Hester for attendance since seventh grade.
