ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A delegation of French educators will visit schools in Missouri this week as part of a plan to start a new partnership.

The group will be hosted by Missouri education officials and will tour schools in St. Louis and Jefferson City.

The first stop will be Monday morning at The French School, a new language-immersion charter school in St. Louis.

Other stops include Clyde C. Miller Career Academy and Soldan High School in St. Louis, and Jefferson City High School, Nichols Career Center, and Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Jefferson City.

The long-range goal is to start teacher exchanges and other contacts between students and teachers in Missouri and France.
