JACKSON - A joint meeting of the Jackson Memorial Veterans of All Wars Post 10495 and its auxiliary voted to combine the celebration of Loyalty Day with the dedication of the first phase of the Brookside Park Memorial to Veterans of All Wars on Saturday, May 1.

Vern Schultz, president of the auxiliary, announced the acceptance of veterans names for the second engraving phase which began March 14, at a flat donation of $50 per name (whether long or short), offsetting the cost of engraving the veterans' wall.

The wall consists of slabs of ebony mist black granite.
