DAY OF WINTER PATEANTRY TO BE JAN. 15 AT SIKESTON

SIKESTON -- The second Day of Winter Pageantry will be held at the Sikeston Field House Jan. 15 under sponsorship of the Sikeston Chamber of Commerce and the local Miss Missouri Board of Directors.

The pageant will feature contests for Tiniest Winter Princess, 2-4 years old; Tiniest Mr. Winter Prince, 2-4 years old; Tiny Tot Winter Princess, 5 years old; Little Mr. Tiny Tot Winter Prince, 5 years old; Little Missy Winter Princess, second- and third-graders; Young Miss Winter, fourth- and fifth-graders; Miss Pre-Teen Winter Princes, fifth- and seventh-graders; and Miss Teen Winter Princess, eighth- and ninth-graders.

Entry fee for all but Miss Teen Winter Princess is $15; the fee for Miss Teen Winter Princess is $20. Checks should be made payable to the Sikeston Chamber of Commerce.

To enter list the name of the contestant; title of pageant being entered; the names' of the parents, their address and phone number; birth date of the contestant; and the contestant's grade and name of school.
