Perry County highway reduced to one lane

Continuing shoulder work will reduce Highway 51 to one lane next week through a portion of Perry County. From 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Missouri Department of Transportation crews will repair the shoulders of Highway 51 between Perry County Road 210 and Main Street in Perryville, Mo.

Highway 114 getting pavement overlay

Highway 114 in Scott, New Madrid and Stoddard counties will be reduced to one lane of traffic today and throughout next week as work crews put down a pavement overlay, the Missouri Department of Transportation announced. The section from South West Street in Sikeston, Mo., to U.S. 60 in Stoddard County will be affected. Work will begin each day at 7:30 a.m. and continue until 5:30 p.m., weather permitting. The work should be completed Friday, MoDOT said.
