Agency spokeswoman Patti Thompson says the levee is expected to crest today or Tuesday. She says crews will remain at the levee after it crests to make sure it holds.

Thompson says the levee that runs through Adams and Pike counties must be watched after it crests because of the tremendous amount of water pushing against it. She says crews have to make sure the water doesn't breach the levee.
