CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Craftsman Office Supply Co., Inc. has been designated as a local agency for Public Fax International.

Public Fax International, headquartered in Irvine, Calif., has more than 7,000 members nationwide.

With the new service Craftsman Office Supply offers businesses and individuals opportunities to send fax mail, even to people who do not have fax machines.

People with fax can send to people without fax, and vice-versa.

Another service offered by Public Fax agencies is the provision of a free fax number. Craftsman will allow area people to use its local fax number as their own.

When a fax is received, Craftsman will make immediate telephone calls to advise local users of fax mail that has arrived, and keep it in confidential personal folder until it is picked up.

Other services include the capability of sending pictures and photographs and having mail faxed for international delivery via "Intelpost."
