The Crader reunion was held Sunday, June 10th at the Jackson City Park. About 100 attended the reunion, many coming from long distances.
The oldest living Crader descendant present was Bernard Crader, 90, who lives at the Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
Coming the longest distance was Lara Schmitz-Crader of Phoenix, Ariz. A special guest was George Bush, with a T., from Austin, Texas. He said he is used to getting the wrong mail!
The auction to benefit the Crader Cemetery fund raised about $750.

The next reunion will be a 25th anniversary celebration the second Sunday in June.
Plans are being made for a barbecue at the site, with the meat being furnished. Other possible activities include a marble shooting contest, horseshoes, face-painting, clowns, and of course, the auction for the cemetery.
