A scholarhsip at Jackson High School has been established in memory of Mary Jane Cacraft, by her friends and family.
Mary jane Cacraft was the wife of Rusty Cacraft and mother of three children. Vice president of Cacraft-Miller, Inc., she was very active in the community of Jackson.
The Jackson High School Scholarship Committee, appointed by the R-2 Board fo Education, oversees 23 scholarship programs. Interest from these funds are awarded as scholarships at spring graduation. The committee determiens the amount of awards and separate committes determine the recipients of each scholarship at graduation.
Anyone interested ine stablishign a scholarship should contact Rick McCord, high school principal, or Jim Nelson, retired JHS principal.
