A Cracker Barrel Old Country Store opens Monday off Mount Auburn Road, between Holiday Inn and Doctors' Park.

Stephen Price is general manager of the restaurant and gift shop, which will employ about 180 people. Ken Lovasz is senior associate manager and John Amelotte and Michael Stone are associate managers.

All Cracker Barrels are open seven days a week. Hours are Sundays through Thursdays from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The menu features country dinner plates, with choices from 11 meats and 12 vegetables. Breakfast is served all day.

The gift shop features old-fashioned candies, jams and jellies, and sorghum molasses and other "remember when" edibles. Diane Shinn is manager of the gift shop.

The Cape Girardeau store is the fifth one to locate in Missouri. The company, headquartered in Lebanon, Tenn., operates 139 company-owned restaurants in 18 states.
