Cape man charged with raping 14-year-old

Robert D. L. Maglone, 17, of Cape Girardeau was charged on Wednesday with rape of a 14-year-old girl. He is being held on a $5,000 cash-only bond. The incident reportedly occurred Sunday evening behind the Victory Outreach Church. According to the Cape Girardeau Police Department, Maglone admitted during interviewing that he performed sexual intercourse with the victim and held her down with his hands around her throat. If convicted, Maglone faces up to seven years in prison on one count of felony sexual assault and up to one year on jail on one count of misdemeanor child molestation.

Perryville man charged with raping 7-year-old

Steven J. Ochs, 47, of Perryville, Mo., was charged on Friday for allegedly raping a 7-year-old girl on two occasions in 2004. He is being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond. The incidents reportedly occurred in an RV that was parked in the 1300 block of Edgemont Boulevard in Perryville. According to the Perryville Police Department, Ochs admitted during interviewing to having sexual intercourse with the victim in March 2004 and July 2004. Ochs has four convictions of sexual abuse of a child and has served sentences in both the Ohio Department of Corrections and the Missouri Department of Corrections.

Man charged with sexual assault of boys

Christopher L. Pugh, 22, of Cape Girardeau was charged on Oct. 6 for allegedly sexually abusing two boys under 12 years old. He is being held on a $20,000 bond. The incidents reportedly occurred on several occasions between January and Aug. 14. According to the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department, one of the boys reported the incidents to his father on Aug. 15.

Jackson man waives hearing on rape charges

Juan Thomas, 26, of Jackson waived his preliminary hearing for rape charges on Wednesday. Associate Circuit Judge Gary Kamp scheduled an arraignment for Oct. 24. Thomas was charged on Sept. 18 with one count of felony forcible rape and one count of felony statutory rape. He is being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond. He is charged with raping a 15-year-old girl who was baby-sitting in his apartment complex.

Man waives hearing for child molestation charges

William C. Braddy, 41, of Fredericktown, Mo., waived his preliminary hearing for child molestation charges on Tuesday. Judge Michael Bullerdieck scheduled an arraignment for Oct. 21. Braddy was charged on Sept. 18 with one count of felony child molestation and is being held on a $25,000 cash-only bond. He allegedly molested a girl under 12 years old sometime between 2000 or 2001.
