ANGLETON, Texas -- A married couple has been charged with murder in the death of a 22-year-old pregnant woman alleged to be the husband's mistress.
Crystal and DeShone Boler were arrested at a relative's home Wednesday and were charged with murder, burglary, intent to commit assault and tampering with evidence. They remained in jail Thursday on $725,000 bond each.
It was not clear if the Bolers had attorneys. Court officials did not immediately return phone calls Thursday.
Emily Garrison's body was found March 17 after the victim's 3-year-old daughter was locked out of the apartment and knocked on a neighbor's door.
Garrison was shot five times and suffered a knife wound to the neck the night before her body was found, according to court documents.
Crystal Boler said her husband was having an affair with Garrison and admitted his mistress was pregnant, according to court documents.
District Attorney Jeri Yenne said the unborn child's DNA would be checked for paternity.
The couple and Garrison are from southern Brazoria County, which is south of Houston near the coast.
