An organization called the Committee to Protect Taxpayer and Landowner Rights (CPTLR) met Wednesday to discuss strategy. Doug Flannery, a candidate for associate commissioner, organized the group. Opponents of zoning point out that the county obtained first class status without it.

Five informational meetings will be held by the county, in support of the issue. The first will be Sept. 19 at the Millersville Attendance Center at 7 p.m.
