STE. GENEVIEVE -- After being washed out by the flood of 1993, the Ste. Genevieve County Fair returns this weekend. The event will be held at the County Fairgrounds north of town Friday through Sunday. A variety of events are planned, including a horse show at 6:30 p.m Friday, A demolition derby at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, a sand volleyball tournament at 9 a.m. Saturday, a tricycle rodeo at noon Sunday, a horseshoe tournament at 10 a.m. Sunday, and a greased pig contest at 6 p.m. Sunday...

There will be conservation, home-economics and expanded livestock exhibits along with food and crafts booths.
