JACKSON - A new club, The Country-Western Dancers, has been formed in the Cape Girardeau County area. The club will hold its first meeting at 7 tonight at the Jackson Knights of Columbus Hall, on Highway 61 North. The club plans to hold weekly dances featuring lessons in beginners, intermediate, and advanced Texas two-step, western swing, shuffles, waltzes, and other dances that remain extremely popular today in Texas and parts of the southwestern United States...

Singles and couples are encouraged to attend and enjoy the fun of learning "western swing" dancing.

Charter membership applications will be available at tonight's club meeting. Newcomers are welcome at all future Monday meetings.
