The anniversary of the founding of Harley-Davidson will be celebrated tonight at Bootheel Harley-Davidson in Scott City with the help of popular country music artist Justin Moore.

"It's going to be a great time when we celebrate 110 years of Harley-Davidson by having Justin Moore with us," said Jason Butler, marketing director of Bootheel Harley-Davidson. "We're hoping for an audience of 2,000 people at the dealership."

Moore, originally from Arkansas, is a rough-around-the-edges performer who was voted Best Male Country Music Artist by Billboard magazine in 2009 and nominated for Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the Country Music Awards in 2012. He has had three No. 1 singles: "Small Town USA," "Til My Last Day" and "If Heaven Wasn't So Far Away." His current single, "Point at You," is climbing the country charts.

"Justin has a huge production company to set things up for his show," Butler said. "The stage and lighting he'll use is similar to what is seen at the Bootheel Rodeo in Sikeston."

According to Butler, two opening acts will perform before Justin Moore takes the stage. Jason Roberson and the Outlaw Crazy Band from Marble Hill, Mo., will play, followed by Nick Sturm from Nashville, Tenn.

"Jason Roberson and the Outlaw Crazy Band are cross-generational," he said. "They're part Waylon Jennings and part Shooter Jennings, part Hank Williams and part Hank Williams III. Nick Sturm has opened for Justin before, and he's also opened for Travis Tritt and Faith Hill. He's an amazing talent."

Gates at Bootheel Harley-Davidson will open at 6 p.m., and performances are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. General admission tickets are $30, and tickets for the Cowboy County Corral are $50. Tickets may be purchased online at bootheelhd.com or by calling 334-7716.
