POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Luke Bryan, the Academy of Country Music's 2010 Top New Artist, is coming to the Black River Coliseum March 11. The JaneDear Girls and James Wesley will open for Bryan.

Tickets are on sale at the coliseum box office and all Ticketmaster outlets. Presale codes, which allow for the purchase of advance tickets, are available through local radio stations and on the coliseum's website at www.blackrivercoliseum.com. Ticket prices begin at $24.75.

"People who want to enjoy a good Top 40 artist who has fun with his fans, this is a show they're not going to want to miss," said coliseum marketing and box office manager Subrina Berger.

"I think that we're really lucky to get him this early in his career," she added. "Based on the success that Miranda Lambert and Dierks Bentley [previous performers at the coliseum] have had ... we feel that Luke Bryan is one of those artists that is going to follow in their footsteps."

Bryan debuted in 2007 with "All My Friends Say," which rose to number five on Billboard's country songs chart and propelled his album "I'll Stay Me" to number two on the country albums chart. Bryan's songs "We Rode in Trucks," "Country Man," "Do I" and "Someone Else Is Calling You Baby" have also charted. "Rain is a Good Thing" spent 30 weeks on the country songs chart, peaking at number one for two weeks in July 2010.
