Holiday music fans in the area, rejoice!
Grammy Award-winning country singer John Berry will perform songs from his Christmas repertoire and more at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson on Nov. 20.
Berry's "O' Holy Night Tour" is part of the St. Paul Concert Series, proceeds from which go to benefit Lutheran Family and Children's Services.
Berry released his eponymous debut album in 1993, later scoring his first Billboard No. 1 country hit, "Your Love Amazes Me."
He would go on to produce platinum and gold-selling albums and several country hits.
He is best known for his tenor singing voice.
In his O' Holy Night Tour, Berry includes original and traditional holiday tunes, in addition to several of his best-known country songs.
Before coming to Jackson, his tour is scheduled to play the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville later this month.
Berry has been noted for his charity work, often for causes benefiting children. Lutheran Family and Children's Services provides counseling, adoption services, youth programs and more around the area.
The show is open to the public and tickets are $30, available through Berry's website at johnberry.com or through the St. Paul church office.
