The Perry County Sheriff's Office is on the lookout for people associated with two area copper thefts.
The first took place about 4 p.m. June 7 at Keifner Building Supply, according to a news release from the sheriff's office. In that incident, someone cut down the electrical wire from the building to the electrical pole. About 880 feet of copper wire was stolen.
The second incident took place between 12:30 and 1 a.m. June 11 at RMC Concrete. Someone attempted to steal electrical wire and may have burns from the explosion, the release said.
Several surveillance videos show a full-size, red, early-2000s four-door GMC or Chevrolet truck with chrome wheels near the theft area. No photo of the suspect has been obtained.
