A Coping Skills clinic, sponsored by Beginning Experience of Southeast Missouri, is scheduled for people who are experiencing big changes in their lives, such as being separated, divorced, or widowed. The series is designed to help these people regain skills that they had before and to aid them in building new skills for living as well.
Each session will begin with factual and personal talks followed by a time for reflective writing and concluding with confidential small group voluntary sharing.
Each session of the six week series is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. on Tuesday evenings and lasts about two hours.
The location is the First Presbyterian Church, 235 Broadway, Cape Girardeau. Sessions will begin on Nov. 29 and continue through Jan. 3, 1995.
