James Carville and Mary Matalin made a splash as strategists in the 1992 presidential election.
Since then, they married, had two children and cranked out a number of books, including the best-selling "All's Fair: Love, War, and Running for President."
Now they are coming to Cape Girardeau.
The couple will speak at 8 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Southeast Missouri State University's Show Me Center. The event is free and open to the public.
Matalin is a former assistant to President George W. Bush and counselor to Vice President Dick Cheney. Carville was the chief strategist for the 1992 Clinton/Gore ticket.
