CONSTRUCTION WILL LIMIT TRAFFIC ON BROADWAY

Beginning Monday, traffic on Broadway will be restricted to one westbound lane and one eastbound lane during construction on the Broadway and Kingsway bridges.

The construction is part of the Cape LaCroix Creek/Walker Branch flood control project.

Barricades on Monday will be placed on Broadway and on Kingshighway, limiting traffic to one southbound left-turn lane onto Broadway.

The Missouri Highway and Transportation Department will adjust the timing of the signal lights Monday morning.

The reduced traffic in this area will be in effect until mid-July. As soon as Broadway is reopened to full traffic, the contractor will close the Kingsway bridge.
