The accident occurred on County Road 563, two miles east of Malden.
A New Madrid County dump truck tipped over, spilling a load of gravel on top of Harris, said a spokesman for the Missouri Highway Patrol.
The truck was driven by Michael Rennier, 39, of Sikeston. He received minor injuries and was treated at the Dexter hospital.
