Construction of the Saint Francis Health Center in Dexter, Missouri, is complete.
The milestone was marked by the announcement of the opening of the Saint Francis Outpatient Center in its new permanent location at 1212 Saint Francis Drive.
The outpatient clinic opened in a temporary location in 2015 while the new health-center facility was under construction.
As a part of Saint Francis Healthcare System, Saint Francis Health Center provides Dexter with a variety of services, including primary and urgent care, OB-GYN specialty care and physical therapy and rehabilitation.
The health center campus also includes a Fitness Plus facility that opened earlier this month.
“We have worked diligently to bring together a team of experienced health-care professionals to serve the Dexter community,” Steven C. Bjelich, president and chief executive officer at Saint Francis Healthcare System, said in a news release. “The Saint Francis Health Center is our commitment to providing the highest quality care locally to this great community.”
An open house will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. July 22. Patients can meet physicians and staff, tour the facility and take part in health screenings.
