CONSERVATION DISTRICT ANNUAL MEETING PLANNED

The Scott County Soil and Water Conservation District Annual Meeting will be held Thursday, Feb. 29, with a meal at 6:15 p.m. at St. Denis Parish Hall in Benton.

The program will include Von Priggel as speaker who will talk about his trip to Australia, recognition of outstanding conservation farmer, special service award, 1995 poster contest winners, door prizes and an election.

Tickets for the dinner are $5 and are available at the NRCS office in Benton or from any of these board members: John Byrd, Lee Pattengill, Bill Holmes, Joe Diebold or Warren Cork. Reservations are needed.
