Here's a look at how area members of Congress voted over the last week. Along with roll call votes, the House also passed the following measures by voice vote. It passed a resolution (H. HOUSE VOTES

ANTI-SEMITISM IN EUROPE: The House passed a resolution (H. Res. 354), sponsored by Rep. Christopher H. Smith, R-N.J. The resolution expressed the sense of the House that the U.S. government should work with European nations and the European Union on programs to prevent anti-Jewish violence in Europe. The vote, on Nov. 3, was unanimous with 418 yeas.

TRANSPORTATION AND TOURISM: The House passed an amendment sponsored by Rep. Corrine Brown, D-Fla., to the Surface Transportation Reauthorization and Reform Act (H.R. 22). The amendment would establish a National Advisory Committee on Travel and Tourism Infrastructure to advise the Transportation Department on ways to use intermodal transportation to promote travel and tourism. The vote, on Nov. 3, was 216 yeas to 207 nays.

NAYS: Graves (MO) R-MO (6th), Hartzler R-MO (4th), Luetkemeyer R-MO (3rd), Smith (MO) R-MO (8th), Wagner R-MO (2nd)

STATE TRANSPORTATION SPENDING: The House rejected an amendment sponsored by Rep. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., to the Surface Transportation Reauthorization and Reform Act (H.R. 22). The amendment would have directed the Transportation Department to give state governments greater authority to determine how to manage elements of surface transportation systems that are not interstate highways. The vote, on Nov. 4, was 118 yeas to 310 nays.

MILITARY SPENDING IN 2016: The House passed the National Defense Authorization Act(S. 1356), sponsored by Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis. The bill would authorize more than $600 billion of spending on military programs in fiscal 2016, including provisions to provide benefits for military members who serve for less than 20 years, greater protections for victims of sexual assault and for funding the building of nine new Navy ships. The vote, on Nov. 5, was 370 yeas to 58 nays.

INCENTIVES FOR NATURAL GAS VEHICLES: The House passed an amendment sponsored by Rep. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., to the Surface Transportation Reauthorization and Reform Act (H.R. 22). The amendment would require the Environmental Protection Agency to give the same regulatory incentives for manufacturing natural gas vehicles the agency gives for manufacturing electric vehicles. The vote, on Nov. 5, was 246 yeas to 178 nays.

NEGOTIATING TRANSPORTATION BILL: The House agreed to a motion sponsored by Rep. Bill Shuster, R-Pa., to go to conference with the Senate to negotiate differences between the House and Senate-passed versions of the Surface Transportation Reauthorization and Reform Act (H.R. 22). The vote, on Nov. 5, was 371 yeas to 54 nays.

SENATE VOTES

GOVERNMENT BUDGET AGREEMENT: The Senate concurred in the House amendment to the Bipartisan Budget Act (H.R. 1314), sponsored by Rep. Harold Rogers, R-Ky. The bill would establish a federal government budget plan for fiscal years 2016 and 2017, suspend the debt limit through March 2017, revise budget spending caps for 2016 and 2017, and make various reforms to Social Security and Medicare. The vote, on Oct. 30, was 64 yeas to 35 nays.

YEAS: McCaskill D-MO

NAYS: Blunt R-MO

REGULATING WATERWAYS: The Senate rejected a cloture motion to end debate on the motion to consider the Federal Water Quality Protection Act (S. 1140), sponsored by Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo. The bill would require the Environmental Protection Agency and U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to follow specific guidelines in revising the definition of the term "waters of the United States" for regulatory purposes. The vote, on Nov. 3, was 57 yeas to 41 nays, with a three-fifths majority required to end debate.

YEAS: Blunt R-MO, McCaskill D-MO

DISAPPROVING OF WATERWAYS RULE: The Senate passed a resolution (S.J. Res. 22), sponsored by Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, stating congressional disapproval of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Environmental Protection Agency rule defining "waters of the United States" and voiding the rule. The vote, on Nov. 4, was 53 yeas to 44 nays.

YEAS: Blunt R-MO

NAYS: McCaskill D-MO

DEBATING MILITARY SPENDING BILL: The Senate rejected a cloture motion to end debate on the Department of Defense Appropriations Act (H.R. 2685), sponsored by Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen, R-N.J., which would fund the Defense Department's military activities in fiscal 2016. The vote, on Nov. 5, was 51 yeas to 44 nays, with a three-fifths majority required to end debate.

YEAS: Blunt R-MO

NAYS: McCaskill D-MO

FUNDING THE VA AND MILITARY CONSTRUCTION: The Senate passed a motion to consider the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs and Related Agencies Appropriations Act (H.R. 2029), sponsored by Rep. Charles W. Dent, R-Pa. The bill would provide fiscal 2016 funding for the Defense Department's military construction and housing programs, as well as the Veterans Affairs Department. The vote, on Nov. 5, was unanimous with 93 yeas.
