CONCERT IS SET FOR TONIGHT AT JACKSON

The Jackson Municipal Band will per form its weekly concert tonight at 8 at the band shell in City Park.

Special guest performers are Daron and Cary Nall, a cousin duo who has been singing together since they were young. Daron's father, Ron Nall, is band director at Cape Girardeau Central High School. Cary's father, Dennis Nall, is choir director at Festus High School.

Daron Nall is performing with the Southeast Missouri State University Choir and is working toward a degree in art. Cary Nall is attending Southeast, majoring in music education, and is active in the University Choir and other ensembles.

The duo will perform contemporary Christian songs including "It Is Well With My Soul," "Make His Praise Glorious," and "Another Time, Another Place."

The band's portion of the concert will include "God of Our Fathers," selections from "Les Miserables," a new suite entitled "Civil War," and marches "King Cotton," and "Diamond Jin."
