JONESBORO, Ill. -- The Union County Sheriff's Department and Union County State's Attorney's office are providing informational sheets for the public regarding the recently passed Illinois concealed-carry law, according to a news release.
The document answers frequently asked questions about the implementation of the law. It is available at the Union County State's Attorney's Office website unioncountyil.gov/sa or on the Illinois State Police website at isp.state.il.us/firearms/ccw/ccw-faq.cfm.
Hard copies of the document also are available at the Union County State's Attorney's Office and the Union County Sheriff's Office at the Union County Courthouse in Jonesboro. The Illinois State Police Public Information Office also may be contacted at 217-782-6637.
