What do you like most about the area? Being able to enjoy the beauty of nature and country living all while being close enough geographically to take in activities offered in bigger cities.

Favorite food: Nachos, artichokes, liver and onions, chili sauce, pickles, any kind of cookies.

Favorite TV show: Travel channel, "Sunday Morning" on CBS, "Frazier" and reruns of "Seinfeld."

Best advice: Pay close attention to people who have succeeded in any and all endeavors of life, and then do what they do.

Person you most admire: My mother because she has a great attitude, always looks to the future, and makes people feel good about themselves after having talked with her.

What would you do if you won the lottery? Travel, travel, travel.

Pet peeve: People who for reasons not obvious to me or anyone else, fail to heed warning signs of an impending situation.
