Jodie Brunke of Jackson, Mo., was recently awarded a $500 scholarship by the National FFA Organization. Brunke is the daughter of Tony and Phyllis Brunke of Jackson. She was awarded the scholarship and plans to use the money to attend Southeast Missouri State University to study veterinary science. The scholarship is sponsored by Woodstream Corp., as a project of the National FFA Foundation Inc. FFA is a national organization for students preparing for leadership and careers in the science, business and technology of agriculture. Brunke also was awarded a Dr. Robert Ward scholarship for $500 and a presidential scholarship at Southeast.
