Health care reform will be the topic of a community forum on March 17, sponsored by Southeast Missouri State University's nursing department and the College of Health and Human Services.
The event will held from 7-9 p.m. in Dempster Auditorium in the Crisp Hall of Nursing.
The forum will offer views on health care reform and its effects on the health and welfare of Southeast Missourians.
President Clinton's plan and the Missouri reform plan will be discussed.
Presenters will be Robert Boissoneau, dean of the College of Health and Human Services; Elaine Jackson, associate professor of nursing and court appointed special advocate for children; Brenda Johnson, instructor of nursing and nationally certified as a geriatric nurse practitioner; Helen Miner, assistant professor of nursing and a member of the office of Rural Health Advisory Commission for the Missouri Department of Health; and Mildred Roberson, professor of nursing and coordinator of the graduate program in nursing.
