Arrowhead Campground holding musical event
Pure Country Radio and Arrowhead Campground will hold a classic country music event from 1 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Camping is available. Bring lawn chairs. No alcohol or drugs will be permitted. The Friedrich reunion was held at Delmonico's in Jackson Aug. 21. Fifty-two attended from Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Oak Ridge, Leopold and surrounding communities. Fred Nebel of Cape Girardeau, 90, was the oldest in attendance; Ashley Hillis of Tulin, Mo., 7 months, was the youngest; Paul and Maxine Friedrich of Jackson had the biggest family with six children; traveling the farthest was Cherry Hinderberger of Columbia, Mo. Next year the reunion will be held Aug. 22 at Delmonico's.
