Baby contest winners at fair announced

The winners in the girls' Baby Contest at the SEMO District Fair were announced recently. They include:

3-6 months old: Kaitlin Hart, daughter of Jennifer and Bobby Hart of Jackson, Mo., first place; Trinity Harris, daughter of Carmen Thomas and William Harris of Cape Girardeau, second place; Sydney Dittlinger, daughter of Scarlett and Rick Dittlinger of Cape Girardeau, third place.

6-9 months old: Deana K. Cook, daughter of Kim and Toby Cook of Millersville, Mo., first place; Gracie Marie LaForest, daughter of Tony and Angie LaForest of Jackson, second place; Madelyn M. Bartels, daughter of Wayne and Rhonda Bartels of Jackson, third place.

9-12 months old: Kailey Kilburn, daughter of Karen and Brian Kilburn of Chaffee, Mo., first place; Alexis Lukefahr, daughter of Cherie and Curtis Lukefahr of Daisy, Mo., second place; Aleesia Holland, daughter of Megan Summers and Chris Holland of Cape Girardeau, third place.

12-15 months old: Jentri Worley, daughter of Jill and Clete Worley of Brosley, Mo., first place; Courtney Penzel, daughter of Chastity and Chris Penzel of Jackson, second place; Abigail Leimer, daughter of LaRae and Michael Leimer of Cape Girardeau, third place.

15-18 months old: Jordon Audrea Wybert, daughter of Tonya and Chris Wybert of Jackson, first place; Kursten Clover, daughter of Tonya and Travis Clover of Cape Girardeau, second place; Mackenzie Altenthal, daughter of Jessica and Aric Altenthal of Marble Hill, Mo., third place.

Grandparents Day today at Civic Center

A Grandparents Day reception will be from 2-3:30 p.m. today at the Cape Girardeau Civic Center Boys and Girls Club.
