Scott Co. genealogical group to meet July 17

The Scott County Historical and Genealogical Society will meet at 7 p.m. July 17 at Riverside Regional Library in Benton, Mo. Heart Walk will hold kickoff July 24

The American Heart Association will hold its Heart Walk kickoff from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 24 at Southeast Missouri Hospital's Harrison Room. Heart Walk team captains or anyone interested in forming a team are invited to attend. The Heart Walk will be held rain or shine at 9 a.m. Sept. 29 at the Osage Community Centre in Cape Girardeau. Exhibitors sought for women's conference

The 21st annual Southern Illinois Women's Health Conference will be held Sept. 15 at John A. Logan College in Carterville, Ill. Businesses or agencies wishing to display their products and share information about their services are encouraged to apply for a space. Spaces are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
