Childhood vaccination program rescheduled

A free program on the importance of childhood vaccinations, originally set for Tuesday at Southeast Missouri Hospital, has been rescheduled for 6 to 7:30 p.m. April 2. The presentation by Scott R. Keller, M.D., a pediatrician with Physician Associates, will be in meeting room 106.

Pachyderms to meet at Dexter Bar-B-Que

The Southeast Missouri Pachyderm Club will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at Dexter Bar-B-Que, 238 S. Broadview St. in Cape Girardeau. The meal begins at 6:15 p.m., and the guest speaker is Paul Nenninger, a former member of the U.S. Secret Service and present member of PLN Consulting LLC. Patton Lions Club plans pancake day

PATTON, Mo. -- The Patton Lions Club will hold its annual pancake day from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at the Patton Saddle Club. The menu is all-you-can-eat whole-hog sausage, pancakes and newly-cooked maple syrup.
