Two Domino's Pizza stores in Cape Girardeau, in conjunction with Central Junior High School, raised almost $500 to help the victims of the Asian tsunamis with last week's three-day "tsunami pizza event." It was the brainchild of Central Junior High student Julie Langenfeld, who organized the event. Her efforts, and the support of everyone who participated by purchasing a pizza, made the event a success. During the fund raiser's three days, if a Domino's customer mentioned "tsunami" when ordering a pizza, a $2 donation was made to the junior high relief fund. The proceeds will be given to the American Red Cross.
