Knights of Columbus to hold Euchre tournament

A Euchre tournament will be held at 7 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Scott City. There is a donation for admission. There will be a cash bar, chili and chicken noodle soup.

Depression and bipolar support group to meet

The Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance of Southeast Missouri will meet from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 28 in the Assisi Room at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Neighborhood group sets first meeting of new year

The first meeting of the new year for the Neighborhood Connections group will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Parish hall of Christ Episcopal Church, 101 N. Fountain St. in Cape Girardeau. Discussion will include a neighborhood watch review, changing the structure of the group's leadership and a strategy for carrying forward recommendations for changing ordinances relative to rental property in the area.

Technology in education demonstration planned

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Perryville Elementary School will hold its second annual TechKnowledge Day from 7:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 29. The community is invited to view the integration of technology into educational programs at the school.

Valentine's Dance planned for Feb. 9

The Knights of Columbus, Scott City Council No. 6420, will hold a Valentine's dance at 6 p.m. Feb. 9. Dinner will be at 7 p.m., and prizes will given away. For tickets, call 264-4512 or 450-2303.
