Harvest Festival planned at Reagan's Chapel; Chicken and dumplings dinner in the works

Annual fish, chicken fry scheduled on Fridays

The Knights of Columbus No. 6420, Scott City, will hold a chicken and fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 6, 13, 20, 27, Nov. 3. Proceeds will benefit the council and five area parishes. Menu is chicken, fish, potato wedges, baked beans, hush puppies, coleslaw, tea and coffee. Children under 6 eat for free.

Harvest Festival planned at Reagan's Chapel

The annual Harvest Festival at Reagan's Chapel United Methodist Church will include dinner from 3 to 6:15 p.m. Saturday and an auction of quilts, other handmade items and produce starting at 7 p.m. The meal includes kettle beef, chicken and dumplings and fried chicken. To reach the church, go three miles north of Patton Junction on Highway 51 to Route NN and follow the signs.

Chicken and dumplings dinner in the works

The Cape Senior Center will hold an all-you-can-eat family-style dinner from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Oct. 15 at the center, 921 N. Clark St. Proceeds will benefit the building fund. The menu includes chicken and dumplings, ham, mashed potatoes, slaw, green beans, dessert and drink. Take-home orders are available. For more information, call 335-1352.
