Morley Lodge no. 184 Fish Fry

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, July 27 an AYCE chicken and fish fry with all the trimmings will be held at the Morley Masonic Lodge.

Meals With Friends at The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army, 701 Good Hope St., Cape Girardeau, will be serving Meals With Friends from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday, July 21 to 25. Any individual is welcome to enjoy a hot, nutritiuous meal in a cool, friendly atmosphere at no cost. The following menu will be served:

*Monday-Beef ravioli, lettuce salad, applesauce, bread and butter, cake or pie.

*Tuesday-Turkey and noodles, corn, fruit cocktail, bread and butter, cake or pie.

*Wednesday-Chicken tenders, french fries, cole slaw, rolls and butter, cake or pie.

*Thursday-Taco or taco salad, tortilla chips, salsa, refried beans, cake or pie.

*Friday-Ham sandwiches, potato chips, peaches, cake or pie.

Fried Chicken and Kettle Beef Dinner

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, August 17 kettle fried chicken and kettle cooked beef with all the trimmings will be served at Knights of Columbus Hall, Highway 61 North, Jackson. Children under 6 eat free. Proceeds will benefit Immaculate Conception Church. All invited.
