Annual Leopold picnic to be held July 29

The annual Leopold picnic, sponsored by St. John Catholic Church, will be from 1 to 11:30 p.m. July 29. An old-fashioned country dinner is on the menu. Entertainment includes a washer tournament, country gift shop, fish pond, games, homemade ice cream and the country music band Rebelation. For more information, call (573) 238-3300.

Perkins fire department serving fish and chicken

The 37th annual Perkins volunteer fire department supper will be held from 2 to 7 p.m. July 29. An auction will be held at 7 p.m. The dinner will serve all-you-can-eat fish and chicken and homemade ice cream.
