Church catering dinner around the world

Cuisine from Jamaica, Mexico, Italy, France and the Southern United States will be served beginning at 5 p.m. Saturday at Greater Dimension Ministries, 723 Hackberry St., Cape Girardeau.

Whitewater church plans picnic, music

Whitewater Presbyterian Church will hold a picnic beginning at 3:30 p.m. Saturday. Gospel music begins at 4 p.m.; turtle races at 7 p.m. The meal includes chicken and dump-lings, fried chicken, kettle cooked beef and all the fixings. Children under 6 eat free. The church is 10 miles south of Perryville, Mo., on Highway 51 to Route KK, three miles on Route KK to County Road 256; or eight miles north of Sedgewickville on Route K, one mile on Route KK to County Road 256.

Fish, chicken on menu at Masonic Lodge

A fish fry will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at Morley Masonic Lodge in Morley, Mo. All-you-can-eat chicken and fish with all the trimmings is on the menu.
