Sausage breakfast available Saturday

Bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy will be available from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Whitewater United Methodist Church. The breakfast is sponsored by United Methodist Women.

St. Augustine annual spring dinner Sunday

St. Augustine's annual spring dinner will be held at St. Augustine School gym in Kelso, from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Menu is ham, chicken and dumplings, dressing with all the trimmings and desserts. Carryouts will be available. Children 5 and under eat free.

Hobbs Chapel serves chicken and dumplings

Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Church will hold a buffet-style chicken and dumplings and ham dinner from 3:30 to 7 p.m. April 29. The menu also includes green beans, slaw, mashed potatoes, corn and homemade dessert. Carryouts available. Reduced price for children ages 6 to 10.

Spring dinner and country store April 30

St. Lawrence Church in New Hamburg will hold a family-style buffet dinner from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. April 30. The menu is fried chicken, chicken and dressing, chicken and dumplings, buttered potatoes, slaw, corn, white beans, drink and homemade desserts. Children 5 and under eat free. Carryouts will be available.
