St. Lawrence serves spring dinner April 22
A spring dinner and country store will be held Sunday at the St. Lawrence Parish Center, New Hamburg. On the menu is fried chicken, chicken and dressing, buttered potatoes, slaw, corn, drink and dessert. Carryouts will be available. Children 5 and under eat free.
Hobbs Chapel serves chicken dumplings, ham
Hobbs Chapel United Methodist Church will serve chicken and dumplings and ham from 3:30 to 7 p.m. April 28. The menu includes green beans, slaw, mashed potatoes, corn and Hobbs Chapel homemade dessert. Carryouts will be available. The meal will be served buffet style. There is a discounted price for children.
Breakfast and bake sale at St. Joseph's
A breakfast and bake sale will be served from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. April 29 at St. Joseph Church at Apple Creek. Sausage, scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy, orange juice and coffee will be served. The event is sponsored by the Men's Club. Visitors are welcome to visit the Church Shrine while there.
Masons serve pancakes, sausages in Marble Hill
The Trowel Lodge No. 440 AF & AM and Victory Chapter No. 431 OES will hold their annual pancake and sausage supper from 4 to 7 p.m. April 25. Price for children under 12 is discounted. Carryouts will be available. Location is the Marble Hill Masonic Temple, 402 S. High St. in Marble Hill, Mo.
Get fried catfish, chicken at New McKendree UMC
The New McKendree United Methodist Men will hold a fried catfish and chicken dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Celebration Center. Cole slaw, baked beans, spiral potatoes, dessert and drinks will be served. Children under 5 eat free.
Chicken dumplings on menu at school cafeteria
