PAWS to hold fish fry April 18 inAnna, Ill.

From 5 to 8 p.m. on April 18, PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving, Inc.) will hold a fish fry at Lou's Room, 109 Vienna St. in Anna, Ill. Fish, hush puppies, slaw, potato salad and homemade desserts will be available.

There will be a 50/50 raffle and a PAWS merchandise sale.

Proceeds go toward maintaining PAWS' Place Adoption Center, a no-kill shelter for homeless and abandoned companion animals. Call (618) 833-DOGS for more information.

Fish and chicken supper Friday at Bell City

A fish and chicken supper will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday at the Bell City Community Building.

The menu will include hush puppies, slaw, potato salad, beans, dessert and drink. Children under six eat free.

Spring dinner, country store set for May 4

A spring dinner and country store will be held from 10:30 to 1:30 p.m. May 4 at St. Lawrence Parish Center in New Hamburg, Mo. The menu will include fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, chicken and dressing, buttered potatoes, slaw, corn, green beans, drinks and homemade desserts. Carryouts will begin at 11:30 am. Children under 5 eat free.
