Daisy church serving grilled whole-hog sausage

A whole-hog sausage dinner will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday in the fellowship hall of New Salem United Methodist Church in Daisy. The menu includes grilled sausage, buttered potatoes, sauerkraut, green beans, applesauce, bread, pie and drinks. Children 5 and under may eat free.

Chicken on table Sunday at Schock center

The Scott City Historical Preservation Commission is sponsoring a chicken dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday at the Schock Community Center in the Old Illmo district. Proceeds will benefit improvements to the Head School. The meal will be furnished by Ziegler Catering and carryouts will be available. For more information, call 264-3187.

Guardian Angel plans dinner at Oran KC Hall

Guardian Angel Church is sponsoring an all-you-can-eat dinner from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on March 13 at the Oran Knights of Columbus Hall. The menu includes roast beef and gravy, fried chicken, chicken and dressing, homemade bread, corn, green beans, slaw, parsley potatoes, homemade pies and cakes, and coffee, tea and lemonade. Carryouts will be available and children 5 and under may eat free. The hall is located on Highway 77 in Oran.
