Doughnut sale for Octagon Club Saturday
Krispy Kreme doughnut sales will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, at Jackson Wal-Mart. Profits will be used for the Jackson Optimist Club to attend an upcoming national convention in Kansas City, Mo.
Cape church to hold ham supper April 6
A ham supper, served family-style, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. April 6 by the Men's Brotherhood of the Evangelical UCC. Church at 33 S. Ellis in Cape Girardeau. Carryouts will be available.

St. Augustine annual spring dinner set for April 6
A dinner of ham, chicken and dumplings, chicken and dressing with all the trimmings, cake and pie will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 6 at the school gym in Kelso, Mo. Carryouts will be available.
Kelly High School Project Graduation to hold doughnut sale
The Kelly High School Senior Class and their parents are trying to raise money for Project Graduation 2003, an alcohol-free, drug-free graduation party for classmembers and parents.
Orders for Krispy Kreme doughnuts will be taken until April 4. The doughnuts can be picked up from 8 to 10 a.m. on April 12 at Atmos Energy Company, 142 North Ramsey, Sikeston, Mo., or St. Denis School on Highway 61in Benton, Mo.
